Fears and Regrets

Fears and Regrets

A Poem by C.S. Posthumus
"

I usually don't write poetry, nevertheless, I was able to conjure up a song...

"
You stare with those eyes
See past all those lies
Nudge off the good-byes
All’s failed in my tries

You stop and you stare
The when’s and the where’s
But I don’t really care
As long as you’re there

Ooh, my fears and my regrets
Not mine to upset
You help me to forget
My fears and my regrets

Oh, please don’t carry on
Don’t you dare go on
You always make me so strong
I know that somehow we belong

Ooh, my fears and my regrets
Not mine to upset
You help me to forget
My fears and my regrets

My fears and my regrets

Great poem! I like:

Ooh, my fears and my regrets
Not mine to upset

That was my favorite line.
