It hails
And ruins the flowers
It rains
But something else cut the power
And it’s going on for hours
We’re getting brand new shiny cars and hotels
Phones and automobiles

It’s crazy
How you changed me

Somehow I bet
It’ll be the perfect winter
An autumn to remember
Spring and summer dragged me head first

It’s scary
How you rearranged me

Leave a treat for me in the morning
Without you the world was still and boring

It’s strange
How you made me

This is very thought provoking. Like a new hotel going up, it makes me wonder what new things replace. Is it worth it? But love is so much more complicated. No one but you can know what changed and what it means.

If you read between the lines Cat, it seem like you're humanizing RAIN, the wonder that can change a person's behavior....this rain brought out the best in you...because everything looked shiny and new, and that's what happens after a rain.... it's like a whole new world..."Without you the world was still and boring"

this is interesting...I am torn between thinking the change is bad or the change is good.
"How you made me" what?
rearranged for the good? or?
is my world just material now...and even though my life is not still and boring...do I maybe want that back?
