Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom

A Poem by Vertigo Cat1111

‘If memories were put up in hotel rooms, and you would take the bed I said I'd come and stay with you‘- Alex Lahey

Small, then broad, then soft
White light in in the loft
Stockings full of scrunchies
And nights full of memories
In the purple you promised to never let go of me
This all began because of magic

There’s mounds of mountains
Light pink robes and pianos
Sunday’s forgotten
God, I’m growing old
But really I’m not
Yet the idea’s sold

That underbite got into my heart
There’s paint all over the midnight carpet and stars

What a magical kingdom, with scrunches and memories and mounds of mountains; a romantic and Mystic ride;
Some lost love as well, because someone left you; could this be a dream? Or just real regrets?
A souls has be injured….so much to think about in this creative poem; love your words…
Best

Gorgeous my friend! as your photo is gorgeous too. "Magic Kingdom" is exactly what your words painted with magic, tender, yearning and passionate ink. this could be about loving someone, this could be about loving oneself, this could be about loving God, loving everything... just melting in the beauty around You and let it takes You and your words to whatever place. Superior piece my dear~

You're welcome my dear` :>
I am growing old, so I can appreciate this poem immensely.
Many Sundays are forgotten, and the paint that is on my midnight carpet...it's a bad color...
and no longer purple.

Haha, thank you so much! I appreciate the review endlessly.
Lovely descriptions in this piece, I was wondering if we were at Disney Land here. Growing old is all we can do if we go on living. Growing up, however, is optional. Great write. F.
