I could be crazy

I could be out of tune

I could be out of whack

Brain splintered and cracked

I guarantee 

You'll be an overachiever overlooked if you end up like me

You could follow in my footsteps

Worry and fear about dumb bullshit like me

An empath

But if I say that, it's honesty I apparently lack

'You're just bragging'

But a million other emotion's that aren't mine leave me lagging

Gosh, maybe I'm crazy

I'm all out of tune

And out of whack

My heart

I think it's beginning to crack

I remember back in the early 80s as a teen growing up. My emotions were at such a heightened state. At felt everything to the extreme. I had no middle ground whatsoever. It took years to dull them, those emotions. But I still clung to keep my empathy strong. It is a virtuous characteristic. Something I feel is a distinguish trait of a writer. this reminds me of me...empathy that just drives me crazy sometimes...feeling if I go into a room and someone is upset, I am responsible in one way or another.
for the mood, or for fixing things.
so I worry about dumb bullshit, too.
