Gun SmokeA Poem by Vertigo Cat1111‘So cold out, the suns gone away, I can’t tell if I’ve just gone insane’- Chloe Lilac
Blood on the floor from me
You missed the beginning You misjudged me You prayed, you hoped You wouldn’t get the rebound But now you’re face is full of alligator tears as I broke You should’ve watched out for the gun smoke Cause now your chest is red and soaked You didn’t expect the recoil And now you’re in your own toil I get my revenge Cause in the bitter storming end I hold the pen I defended you there To the bitter storming end I promise you Protected by fireflies for friends Now they finally know how you feel Second best The third wheel The hope diminishing in my chest as the sun rises upside down in the west I guess I don’t know how to face the consequences of my own actions Turning your rage to satisfaction Now Face the consequence of your own actions Turning your rage into satisfaction You missed the call I won’t be the first or last to fall No more curtain calls Not this time around © 2021 Vertigo Cat1111Featured Review
