Hundredth Cup Of CoffeeA Poem by Vertigo Cat1111You’re a queen, selling dreams, selling makeup and magazines. From you I'd buy anything.- Taylor Swift
You moved on on a Thanksgiving morning
A look like cookies and cream We’re kinda like a purple apartment Living on our own Just people to call home The closest I’ve ever known So forget the lies, forget the bones Love has made it snow Cacti hills in the morning You’re the bubbles floating around in my stomach I can’t believe you exist And everyone needs to know it I want to be that feeling in your head when you slide off that much too tight scrunchie Take me to the the store in the morning So in a few years I can reminisce over your chocolate milk and favorite cereal Cold cinnamon floating in the alleyway Please, you have to stay Your so soft, smile and all I get what they were talking about Making my heart glow like a streetlight Reanimate my skeleton When everyone else before treated me as a blight A queen in my vicinity The epitome of perfect I’m too giddy And I don’t know how lucky I am that I got here You’ve gotta be kidding me SPF radiates off And water and diners and hotels fill my thoughts Like i said you gotta be kidding me How did you get this pretty? Will you ever teach the world Will they ever know How your heart made my world finally spin slow? You’re a latte wrapped in a Christmas bow The kind of genius on their hundredth cup of coffee I remember you from lives ago © 2021 Vertigo Cat1111Featured Review
