Grocery Store MigrainesA Poem by Vertigo Cat1111'I can't describe all the changes I felt the past couple years really put me through hell, But she cools me down, keeps my feet on the ground when I get too high'. -Chloe Moriondo
I'm still dealing with the migraines and stomachaches
But you're always there besides me For my sake No one gets me like you do And no one's made me smile in forever Yeah, it's been awhile since I acknowledged the moon No one gets excited about food in the grocery store like us Low attention span misfits, we're some sort of bust Dirty glances and offput stances I guess I'm just a bit of an oddity But I never being mind being an oddity When you're with me And we're lucky We get to point out the prettiest girls together But you still look at me like no other Under any dripping star weather You understand my heart is locked But you're the only one with a key And you enjoy my poetic- standing in the middle of the road- epiphany's And I love your fist's familiar knock. I guess all this is to say You love me when I'm high When I cry You've forgiven those lies And past the day I die That's one of the million reasons you're different than everyone else But I could go on and on about the million reasons you make my heart melt. That'll be my next poem, I bet.
