YES. I know, another love poem, but it's what I love to write, and until you get my actual Adventure/Romance NOVELS... here, have another love poem. Inspired by the GREAT Gabbie Hanna, if you don't know who she is, check her out! Have a great day!

A fine poem, Colacat. The poem summarises the whole gamut of emotions from the first meetings with a stranger to the blossoming and heartaches of love to the realisation that love is better with them by your side. "A canyon kind of feeling"....is a great line and we cherish those marked days that someone special entered our lives. I enjoyed the poem and the beauty of the reality within. 💛

I loved this poem.
It's a canyon kind of feeling
Through all the lows and highs
"Every green sunrise
Stormy winter skies
My heart's reprise
No more dead butterflies
No, not with you around"
The above lines, hopeful and wonderful. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

Thank you so, so much! I appreciate the kindness endlessly, it means a lot.
Very lovely. I like a lot of the phraseology. The ups and downs of a relationships is evident. It also sounded like a song in many places. Kudos

This doesn't really feel like a love poem, but more like a friend poem. It reminds me of a friend I once blocked for a year or so & now I love him dearly. It's amazing how our understandings evolve & those we couldn't stand become those we adore. We could all stand to be less rigid about liking & disliking people. It's not always a black-and-white proposition, but rather, shades of gray on a continuum always changing. Love how you use geological formations to symbolize feelings & challenges (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
Nicely carved phrases! I like the way you took from starting to ending explaining the gist and many reader will catch it easily. Yes, the poem is painful with hope of rising and moving on ahead in life is magnificently penned. "Sooner or later we've all got to let go of our past.” Glad to read keep writing.

I really enjoyed the way you describe the progression of a relationship. You allow the reader to take the journey with you from beginning to end. Powerful imagery as well. Wonderful read. Thanks for sharing!
