Morning DawnA Poem by Meagan ReynoldsThe dawn sets in the above trees, the light slowly escaping through the branches. As the sun washes over the pavement, the temperature slowly rises to a peak of 76. My eyes flutter left and right, left, in the direction of bird song, and right, in the direction of a humming car, speeding along it's way. The rush of wind from the passing car sweeps over me.
