Mirror

A Poem by Meagan Reynolds

The mirror is dark,
Until you stand in front,
Creating a spark.
Your body dances,
you jump,
and take a chance.
You stop with your breath heavy,
lifting your arms up,
keeping your feet steady.
Feeling the music pump through you,
You throw your head back and twirl,
and it felt like you flew.
Slowing yourself,
the music stops,
and you put your shoes on the
shelf.

I realize I used "and" and "you" a little much, but it was off the top of my head.

It's kinda like a dark yet also light piece. I really like that, it's different.
