Bittersweet

Bittersweet

A Poem by Maeve

Bittersweet

Bitter-sweet words,
stained.
Venom leeches from her,
relentlessly.
Her words are bites,
she covers.
Her words are those she means,
but never admits to.

Bitter-sweet girl,
stained.
Venom has poisoned her,
poor child.
Her words are her own,
she hates them.
Her words are her own,
she hates them.

I really love this poem
Definitely has more feeling than some of the other poems I read
I like the repetition, it really emphasizes your point and makes the reader truly feel what she feels.

Well done. :]
