A Poem by CoffeeInfused

I shut my mouth

So I can scream

And fill my mind

So I don’t dream

Smile wide

To hide my pain

And close my eyes

To see my gain

Cut myself

But leave no mark

And with bleeding pen

Stitch back my heart

Burning brightly

So I can fade

And give away

The things I’ve made

Make progress toward

My relapse

Standing ground

I start to relax

Lose my mind

And start to collapse
