I Fear The Number Would Fall Short

I Fear The Number Would Fall Short

A Poem by CoffeeInfused

I fear the number would fall short

If you count the stars above

It still would not equal the ways

Of how I feel for you, my love

Or all the grains of sand

In rest along the beach

They still would not amount

Even if you tallied each

With every breath I take

My fondness brighter gleams

And every waking moment

It still seems like a dream

And if a dream it is

Then I do not dare to wake

For I would curse the morning light

If you, away it takes

I guess you have an intense feeling for the lines in the one...just goes to the end of endearment for someone...
