The Soundtrack of Life

The Soundtrack of Life

A Poem by CoffeeInfused

If life had a soundtrack

What would it be?

A little of everything:

Some stormy concerto

In a minor key

A blazing rock ballad,

Riffing wild and free

A lone blues guitar

That wails and moans-

Maybe a slow, sad

Hopeful country song?

Are friends and family

The music and the notes

The tempo made up

Of struggle and hope

We each craft our own-

Our music, our songs

A rich tapestry

A growing melody

Of why you’re you

And what makes me, me

Very cool read! Life would be so dull without the music playing in the background - or without the melodies we create. Ah, I just like this one!
