If a Tree Falls

If a tree falls in the forest

Does it make a sound?

What about a breaking heart

With no one else around?

 

Family and friends

They cannot hear it crack

Only pick up the pieces

And try to put them back

 

Loneliness, a heavy burden

One alone must endure

And only hope to share one day

If the bond of trust is pure
