Steam Line

Steam Line

A Poem by CoffeeInfused

Like a fracture in a steam line
The cracks inside my weakened mind
Mean no holding in
Or bottling inside
The pressure's too great
And won't be denied
No longer can i turn a blind eye-

Every day brings stress anew
Boiling, roiling,
Bursting through
Widening cracks become unglued
Toil and strain
Take their toll
No longer can two parts be whole
Tearing apart a fragile soul
