Just something I scribbled up quickly, being that June3 is my birthday :P

A little bit wiser

Another year older

A little less tentative

And a bit bolder-

For having lived and learned

Struggled and earned

Every lesson the past year-

Through hope and faith

Pain and loss

Promises and hearts broken

And lines that were crossed-

Has made me a better person

For having weathered

This storm of life

On this big blue ball

Traveling together

Once more around the sun

Another year’s trip is done

And another has yet begun
