I Still Miss You

It didn’t take you long

To get a firm hold on my heart

You’re the only person for whom

I ever created art

 

And now, though you’re gone

I write for you still

You pushed the limits of what I knew

I still miss you,

Through the things that were said

I still feel between us

Some strange undercurrent

 

I simply wish you would speak

And talk honestly awhile

To know that you’re alright

Or if you miss me too

Still caught in each other’s spell
