Fly

Fly

A Story by Wisconsin

Im in the lab.

It’s crowded in here, and I just noticed my fly is down.

It’d be one thing if there were guys sitting around me, but at the moment I’m sitting next to a female.

A little, panicked voice inside of me is skipping—keeps saying “What-am-I-gonna-do, what-am-I-gonna-do, what-am-I-gonna-do!!?”

I don’t want to stand up and zip up. I don’t want to try to zip up while sitting here either, because the sound would definitely draw her to look over and notice me monkeying with my fly in the middle of the lab, and that'd be weird. I suppose I could get up and attempt to make my way into the bathroom, the safe zone, and zip up. Walking around with an open fly is potentially a bad idea, though.

What-am-I-gonna-do!?

I think I’ll just sit here until everyone else leaves.

Or, alternatively, I could turn to her and explain the bind I’m in. “Hey, listen, my zipper is down. It’s embarrassing, but true. I’m going to zip up now.”

Yeah. That won’t be awkward.

Hmm.

What-am-I-gonna-do!?!

I suggest you just kill everyone in the room.
I think that's the only logical thing to do.
Another great piece (yes, I do read them, just have nothing to say..).
