Horn BlowsA Poem by Boantlers
So I may seem a little intrusive
Yet I was welcomed So, back and fourth this rolls between us; so far endlessly I don't want to feel like your game anymore In the midst of mist and hard work I found her I have two tickets for the train leaving soon we must catch Sun kissed in this glen down in the valley, stayed until moonlit and fused We will show our grandchildren the pictures of us climbing trees as youngsters; the bird house and feeder we built, the art we made together when we were still feeling our way around, trying to read the map before we had found the key So, I may seem a little intrusive Yet we love you so So, back and fourth this rolls between us, souls soldiering in infinity I feel this partnership strengthen In the midst of this clearing fog on a spring morning we sit at the station We hear the horn of the locomotive blow My anticipation and excitement Your smiles and butterflies © 2010 BoantlersReviews
