A Poem by Boantlers

Contemplating the stains days have left
The then is now memories of delusion tamed
Centered young, ventured forward with a calling to soar and cleanse
Old stories of then
Now in the powers of thousand star clusters, invest trust in knowing love forever was, thus is
Desires spent in passion forming our pattern for this symbiosis
Morning sun growing from seeds sown with love
The kissing lips meet with a sighing hiss symbolizing the new found tie to the Lunar tide
Precious found treasures inside this alpine and sparkling duet

Both parties empowered, inspired by counters as allies in willing alignment
Stepping in full stride, full tide in, full moon rising, glowing in fusion anew
Lightening strikes our open hearts, delivering the charge as I shiver downing the tonic of light
with which we arm ourselves as aide for making way through the dance of this promise
This chance with electric desires lighting this mighty spectrum
Unique sets of intentions pure, joined hands, motivation heard speaking in impatient anguish
Waiting, watching as feather dusters dust and fires clear paths
This quest set upon across desert sands with an extraordinary companion
Living and breathing in sync
Seamless cohesion sweetly calling me deeply in dream
Inside of you
Inside of me

Pushing prose poetry much? The length helped with this tone that I got of a...sleepy, kind of dreamy tone. It was very relaxed -- it was very relaxing. I had a few moments where I was like, "What does that word mean?" because your poem reminded me of the poems we read in English class. Your vocabulary was more of...blunt, in a sense, direct, to the point, quite the opposite of the tone you seemed to take (again, sleepy, dreamy). It's pretty nifty. One of your better ones, if I do say so myself.
