Two in a Chrysalis

Two in a Chrysalis

A Poem by Boantlers
"

Me and my imagination. Inspired by things I feel and see.

"

Ready to feel the change we belong to

The us forming in tune like two in a chrysalis

In slow-motion ages pass

Alone here where I call home, in a cage made of glass

Longing the change and following chance made to take place

Unlock this gate long kept from opening

I wish to never need to utter

“if only”

I am opening

Still feeling as frozen as they seem lost in diluted, deluded translations of ancient poetry

Hello angel, it’s only me

So long its been, I can see well how you have been treated

I know what you must think

Here in now to try to age, feel this heart reach through the numbing pain

Spirit speaks to spark spells of change

Insanity begs to stand if not the standing of misunderstood, an age-old view that authority made, This world gave you the name Destroyer

falsely cradled, they labelled you my Poisson

No more can I grow lonely

I have been here at home hoping

Time to find my own voice, outer-sphere I roam

Heir to throne with a long-hold on ignorance

Thankful and wakened in the refuge of her warmth

Make this call of certainty clearly known

My lover never harmed my soul, she nurtures my strength, not ever shall I question, So hear me call in spirits hope, here I dance in her pheromone and bind to her soul and spirit

These old Premises of emptiness are dens in which I'm dead still and living with these ears deaf

No heaven here yet, not near if you are not here in it

It's you, and this I Solemnly swear, these tears I share shedding in sonnets to personify the cuts bared from knowing this perch of solitude

Trust me, I love you

Three words, one truth

May grace fall unto you

In slow-motion ages pass

Alone here where I call home, in a cage made of glass

Longing the change and following chance made to take place

Unlock this gate long kept from opening

I wish to never need to utter

“if only”

I am opening

Still feeling as frozen as they seem lost in diluted, deluded translations of ancient poetry

If it seems like a real downer, it's not meant to be. Any thoughts?

Thanks for reading.
