Pondering

Pondering

A Poem by Boantlers

What to do with a minds confusion
Light so fused with a mighty question

Where is she hiding?
Will I find love again?

Am I so blind as to not see that I am right beside her

God, I miss her
then and now, still and ineffably

Ahead of me is grief, healing of split seams
An ending not foreseen
Daring me to question
With this then, perhaps I still believe

Where is she hiding
Will I find love again?

Am I so blind as to not see that I am right beside her

God, when I die, will I reunite with her
Will I find her then?

Will we rise again to the beat of souls clapping to pure intent
Will we find the measure of our sacrifice in a quiet den
Can I confide in my friend to ask the question

Where is she hiding
Will I find love again?

Sweet longing. A great poem. The repeated question is a good choice Matthew.

All around an enjoyable read.

I like the idea that the one you've been right beside you as your friend. I think that's the way it happens sometimes. This ha a timeless quality that is really charming.
