Once again let me stress, I am NOT a poet. This is one that I found on the desk top of my old computer. I wrote it four or five years ago for my cat Buffy. So I guess this too would be a "trunk poem." I hope you enjoy it and because you get a kick out of how bad it is.

not too happy about SNATCHED FROM IT THE GROUND...Maybe change the IT and FROM around, Great name for a cat though and a pretty good poem too, I think you KNOW that you can do better. You write prose...just stick some really good prose into stanzas...It works for ME

I knew it was a cat before I read the Authors note. Not that I'm some kind of literary genius or some crap like that. I have a cat and it reads like something she would do. It's good when the reader actually knows what the poem is about. Little bro there's poets on this site I read and have no clue what they're writing about. You should take a whack at writing more poetry. It's not hard. Christ I can do it in my sleep now

Actually it ain't half bad - not thrilled with the last line. - How about she tears it piece by piece As she begins to feast? Crazy thing is my aunt had a dog Buffy and I pictured her - she was a feisty little rat killing terrier.
