Sister LA

Sister LA

A Poem by Cody McGeary

Walking Down The Boulevard
Saw My Life Flash Before My Eyes
And Sirens Fill The Air

Watch The Lights Flash At Breakneck Speed
Riding Upon My Silver Steed
We'll Get There Soon I Know

Watch The Shadow Jump Across The Wall
Feeling The Effects Of The Alcohol
Lying On My Back I Found God

Hey, Sister L.A.
Help Me Run Away

Most of us need to see God or the Devil to get on the right road. I like this poem. Pain teaches us to wiser. A excellent poem.
