Come to Me SonA Poem by CodedWords
A man can have anything if he is willing to sacrifice
With your birth comes a solemn vow, a promise You will have nothing. Your privilege is the dirt of the soil lessons for courage, ambition and disappointment In the darkness, only your true purpose will guide you The oath you've sworn, the commitments you've made They are your struggles alone In your passion, you will find a path - you will take full advantage Your freedom will be the war you wage Holding your breath you must in the midst of the chaos Your birthright, the losses you will suffer Creating tension, resentment always lurks in the corner Against further foes, your ruthlessness must break their ranks Your entitlement the pain you must endure And when darkness find you, you will face it alone Creating, growing and leaping into the future
