Sea of woe

Sea of woe

A Poem by CodeNameDankNug

I walk alone in this empty home
My soul still roams, this world so cold
I will take under, this ocean of sorrow
But if the tide should rise, it will cover my eyes.
Fingers crossed for a drought, I guess we'll find out
Either way I'm fine, If i die, I don't mind.
It has been a hell of a ride.
But never my own life
Lets say a man with a knife should try and take flight.
I couldn't promise I'd fight.
For a dance with the reaper, I so need to meet her
That kiss I will savor, I'll remember her flavor.
I need that embrace, but I believe in fate.
So until my time, I'll try to stay calm.

Wow! This is intense. The descriptions throughout are very regretful and powerful. I hope at the end of the road, I don't look back and see all the things I regret. To be in a state of mind where you don't care if you live or die . . . It truely is a sea of woe.
