Wonder In The Darkness

Wonder In The Darkness

A Poem by Elizabeth Fiske
"

Just a very short poem about my relationship with darkness...

"
With no one in sight
The darkness shines so bright.

No monsters in sight,
Is this right?

We were wrong all along.
It's really not that horrible;
All my fears are curable.
So tonight,
I plan to wonder in the darkness.

I like it. It reminds me of the times when I like to just go walking through the streets late at night or early in the morning. Or doing something kinda scary, because you know you will be alright and you just like to feel that feeling of fear. Nicely done.

Spooky! But so enticing. Flavorful.
