I'm Still Waiting

I'm Still Waiting

A Poem by Elizabeth Fiske
"

Waiting on love that may not be love in the end...

"
Sometime in the future
You'll close your eyes and see my face.

I'll still be waiting in this place,
Holding onto this dream
That seems like a complete waste...

But how can fate be a waste?

Especially when my heart sings?

I'm still waiting,
Waiting for your hand,
Hand me love,
Love me better than others,
Others never felt this,
This is it....

But I'm still waiting?

If you felt the spark
You would have opened your eyes to see my face...

I can't give you any more of my time to waste...

I thinks it's time I left this place...

But what really is this place?

Especially when my heart won't sing?
