December AirA Poem by CoconutSprinkles08Every late night and forever, I can't believe it all ends in goodbye.
I watch every cold tear fall, I wonder what I've done wrong. Thought I was brave, thought I was strong. But I can't even start to move on. I'm watching you fade from view, Memories lost of you. I try to hold on, To every moment, Every smile, Cause one day you'll really be gone. How do I begin to start over?
Please, don't call me your sunshine. Cause all I see is rain. Please, don't promise me anything. Cause I've nothing to gain. Please, don't leave me in the cold. I'm a dying flame. Don't leave me in December. In the bitter December air.
You're the only one I've cared about And the only one who kills me. I thought this might be destiny, You and I, But this story has more chapters to tell. I've been wondering why I even fell If all I was falling for was goodbye.
Please, don't call me your sunshine. Cause all I see is rain. Please, don't promise me anything. Cause I've nothing to gain. Please, don't leave me in the cold. I'm a dying flame. Don't leave me in December. In the bitter December air.
I've been falling in and out of love with you. It's getting hard to tell who you are. Are we strangers? I thought love was supposed to be magical, Not a roller coaster of disasters And endless disappointments. You love me, You love her? What are you doing?
Please, don't call me your sunshine. Cause all I see is rain. Please, don't promise me anything. Cause I've nothing to gain. Please, don't leave me in the cold. I'm a dying flame. Don't leave me in December. In the bitter December air.
This is the last time I'll have you tomorrow. Every up and down, I can't deny you were always by my side. Through the tears we cried together, Every late night and forever, I can't believe it all ends in goodbye.
Please...call me your sunshine. Cause all I see is rain. Please, promise me anything. Cause I've nothing to gain. Please, turn your car around. I can't chase you forever. Please don't leave me in December, December, In this bitter, cold, lonely...December air.
