Press RewindA Chapter by CoconutSprinkles08Press Rewind I would do anything to have One little girl's eyes stay dry. To bend the rules for one night. To take away the tears she'll cry, Take away her comfort in emptiness, Make her realize she doesn't deserve this.
I wish I could press rewind, One time, Try to make it right. Leave behind the rules I live by. One night to change her life, Make her eyes shine bright, Show her someone cares When she turns off the light.
Make it better for us, Brush off her dust And replace it With pixie-dust. Save a little girl's soul From future pains untold. Save crippled hearts at war Inside a small house I've seen before.
I wish I could press rewind, One time, Try to make it right. Leave behind the rules I live by. One night to change her life, Make her eyes shine bright, Show her someone cares When she turns off the light.
Take away useless fear, Those broken memories Whispering in her ears, And those worthless fights Leading up to that night.
