Lee Marvin SunglassesA Poem by Judas HammerWe are all Blinded by the light!Lee Marvin Sunglasses Who are we? With our local sports teams and favorite color? We are the ones blinded by the Bright light- ambition It fries our pupils Reaching the back of our skulls Who are we with our lottery tickets? And abs rollers? Trying to be rich and appealing We want it all We are blinded by the light Called vanity Who are we? With our pre kindergarten and Japanese instructed Four years olds Educating- the very youth that will Destroy us They will re open the ovens and Burn us all They will see the savages whom raised them And wipe them from the face of the semi livable planet Earth We are the ones blinded by the light Of arrogance It melts our retnas into pools of plasma Who are we? With our fast food chains Reality TV Our popularity contest president? We judge all those Who attempt greatness? Feed them to the lions called The general public We laugh as they cry As they walk back to their 5 star hotel Rooms Ready to end it all We are blinded by the light The light of Lucifer The lord of light I pray every night for sunglasses The tough ones The ones lee Marvin used to wear. © 2011 Judas HammerAuthor's Note
