PawnShop

A Poem by Judas Hammer
"

The extent a man will go.....

"

PawnShop

A man told me he had the keys

To Heaven.

I asked him where he got them.

He said- a pawnshop on Van Nuys Blvd

From An Armenian man with a lot of K’s and J’s

In his name.

I asked him if he had anymore?

He said-no

He had purchased the last set.

So, I beat the man and took his keys

Some people will do anything to enter paradise

Even hurt his brother

Remarkably well done. I wasn't sure what to expect by the title. I thought maybe this would be about actually pawn related material. This was a pleasant surprise on my part.

A very clever, interesting poem, which speaks of the cruelty of the world which at many times values greed more than humanity
