Intermittent Gales

Intermittent Gales

A Poem by Cobblestone Traveler

As the wisp of your essence pierces the heart
Euphoric emotion emits to the bone
When it exits as swiftly as it entered
I grasp at a vapor to keep for my own

But I could never have you, not past a moment
The Air guides the path of your rapturous grace
It's evident you're no stationary Force
I'm fortunate to even feel a trace

And so I'll wait for the winds to thrill me again
To treat me with your healing smile
I'll give into the shivers as it delivers
For that short and precious while.

That's quite a beautiful poem
That smile can heal anything
And everything
