A Happy RevelationA Poem by Angela Sparks
A breath in the air,
It's soft and sweet. The wet sand, Cool under my feet. It's hard to comprehend, That not long ago, The water was too salty, The sand too clingy, But now I realize I was faulty. My thoughts were that of a sour being. Who knew what happiness could reveal? It's as if a fog had been lifted, Now the beauty I can see. All that hollow resentment, It seems to have left me. Happiness, so life changing. I wonder, am I the same? My personality from before, How much has it changed? Has another me been born? Although I thrive for answers, Ill save my questions for a different day, Right now I think ill enjoy the sun, without the rain. © 2016 Angela SparksAuthor's Note
