Bewitched

Bewitched

A Poem by Viccy Rogers

Daren't ever catch her eye
They're fibre obtic; sparks will fly
They're copper swirls of everything warm
They're an electric fire storm

They're blazing, brutal, brilliant
Exceptional, transilliant
Terrifyingly radient ,
Escaping the walls of their gradient

And once they've caught you, you've no hope,
No guidelines and alas no scope
No concept, no orientation
No sense, only squed illation

Shield yourself whatever the price
That laser stare, so clean and concise
So threatening, strong yet exciting
So dangerous and yet so inviting

I never want those eyes to blink
Those pupils; black and blue as ink
Crepuscular whirlpools - let me dive!
To quence my thirst and to revive

That spell they cast; the unbreakable bond
Of which it's impossible abscond
Her eyes are simply too beguiling
Seductive, dazzling, mesmerising

They simply cannot be ignored
Far and wide they are adored
They're sirons with no melody
A silent dose of ecstacy.
