Yes, it was you...who delivered the first blow.
I thought...
Yes, I thought...that you were different.
Wrong...
Yes, I was wrong...to think that you would be.
Now...?
Now, I don't know...if I can trust again.
I will, though...
Yes, I will trust again...
No...
Not because I am naive...
But because I know nothing else...
I am...
Yes, I am...a beaten dog that returns after every beating...
