![]() ~Untitled IA Poem by Clyde du Coeur![]() Part one of the trilogy.![]() “I haven’t got anyone to dance with.” “I’ll dance with you.” He whispers in my ear, “let me just go and put my drink down.” I nod and wait - who knows, he may not come back. But he does... and we dance in full view of J, R and N to name a few. We groove opposite each other. Any chance of a twirl? I begin to wonder. But he reads my mind. He twirls me one way and I think I’m going back but he twirls as well and we end up close... very close. I look at him. He looks at me. Then it happens... I tilt my head one way, as does he, but the opposite way so to link us. He opens his mouth and I open mine. He caresses my tongue with his own and we play ‘tongue twister’ for several seconds. I feel passionate heat rising as quickly as condensations spreads on the windows. Almost automatically, we pull away in unison. I smile at him, and he smiles at me. He tells me he’s going to get a drink. I let him and feel dazed and happily confused as he walks away. I feel a tap on my shoulder; it’s N congratulating me, and smiles all round. Why?
