It Can Go Both Ways [Part 1]

It Can Go Both Ways [Part 1]

A Poem by Clyde du Coeur
"

The moon and stars accompany a romantic atmosphere. A recently married couple pass by, publicly showering their devotion upon one another...

"

Waves lap at the sand
Making soft splashes...
Stars light the night sky,
Little candles...

Whoops of laughter within earshot fly,
The happiness of two lovers passing by,
And then there’s you and I...

You hold my hand in such a way
I never thought possible...
You look into my eyes with such passion I can’t believe
What we have is real...

Your hand slips down to my waist;
Your spirit, your love I almost can taste,
You tell me you love me to my face.

A cool breeze surrounds us,
Bringing us closer...
Now that we are entwined,
You kiss me tender...

I’ve never felt this way before;
Full attention span to the core,
A happy conclusion I hope to draw.

Feeling your kisses on my neck,
I melt...
Knowing you are mine and I am yours,
United in matrimony...

As soon as this night ends, we will start anew... together.

Awww...delightful. The breeze esp doing the drawing together. And the kiss was almost palpable. The pairings of waves/sand, stars/sky reminded me of shelley's Philosophy of Love. The line 'And then there's us' made me think it might be meant as a contrast to the previous harmony, but no, the harmony increases!
