Funeral for a Dead Guy

Funeral for a Dead Guy

A Poem by Saturnalia
"

Did I offend you?

"
Black doesn't suit you.
Neither does your brother's drycleaned tux.
Manly ties are
Lost on you.

My eulogy sucks.
I bet you're laughing in that small tomb.
At least I'm here
Above ground.

They're crying for you.
Or maybe laughing at that picture.
They're in tears over
Your Styx shirt.

There's no joking here.
My scathing wit is not accepted.
Lightening the mood,
"Oh, too soon?"

This is all a joke.
Just like your laughably futile life.
Hope you heard that
Down in Hell.

You know I love you
It's just a defense mechanism.
Do you get it?
I miss you.

Oooh that is so awesome! I liked the sassy attitued in it. It was great. I don't know if there is a hidden reference to the 'Styx' T-shirt, but I love Styx haah.
Great work, keep it up!
