The thing you unleashed

The thing you unleashed

A Poem by Cloudtreesium

Spring dreams

Splitting seams

Unravel me

However you deem

Fit

Pay no heed

To my screams

They’ll fill you with dread colder

Than ice cream

Heart stopping metal machine

You see,

I’m a monster thinking of evil schemes

Lure you into traps

Hold you under wraps

Don’t give a crap

Not even good enough to be a snack

What’s left of you?

Paper shoved haphazardly

Into a scrap

Book

At least I had the courtesy

To gift-wrap it

Look past it

Ignore the obvious blast

From the past

It,

Won’t bother me

At least

This is what you've unleashed

Upon yourself

But I'm free

And I’ll no longer have to be

A wildaboar beast
