A disgrace by the media

A disgrace by the media

A Story by Timmie

In the darkest hour of your career, would you want international news coverage of it, highlighting everything you did wrong since the day you were born? This might be why Hollywood is seemingly dying out.
They don't deserve to be the news. They are like us, and they have no political power, nor should they. So they act, and play sports, and sing, and play an instrument. Leave them the hell alone and let them carry out their profession.
Buy their songs, movies, trademark items and don't dwell in their personal affairs unless you want to know how it feels to have cameras trained in on you, waiting for you to do something wrong. Will it even be true, what they say about you? Will they care?
Those people — the media who do this to the celebrities — are the reason why North America has lost so much faith in the print industry. They made the world believe we can type up any thing we want and publish it, just to get more readership. I cannot testify for any one else, but I try my best to make sure I have the facts right. And even if I am proved wrong, then at least I know it won't be published.
