Medicine for tearsA Poem by MarinaSo much goes on inside us when we cry and these are just a few good words to those who feel low at timesAn outburst, Or a river that’s slow at first.
Caused by internal pain, Or physical hunger and thirst. Tissues and warm hugs,
‘Sorry’ cards and coffee mugs, Care and protection, Love and affection. All sure to wipe those unwanted tears, Along with the many sorrows and fears. Swollen like the eyes, Is the heart inside. With comfort, not distress. When a loved one’s beside. Fight them with your mates sincere,
Because they’re the best medicine for those bitter tears. © 2013 MarinaAuthor's Note
