Promise

My Beloved one,

 I am here to cherish you as long as you are returning the care

Stay with me until the day is finished

We enjoy the moments together we share

You are there for when I need to vent to

I hope forever that you will be mine

It was said that our hearts do stick like glue

Funny how you stay running through my mind

You gently place your fingers on the side of my face

When you kiss me, my worries go away

 

There is nothing else I rather embrace

I will do anything to make you stay

Someday, I hope that you will show up with a ring

I'm hoping that this isn't' just a really big fling

I like The way you began the poem " I am here to cherish as long as you are returning the care".
The feelings are well expressed. That is how it feels when we love someone.
You ended the poem with a wish on an optimistic note. You tried to rhyme at many places ,which is nice.
