It feels like it was just yesterday

We were all just kids

Back to those days?

 

Maybe we could have a party

Who knows?

Maybe that's the closest we will be

Is it just me or is does the thrid stanza seem silly?

No, it isn't silly. But it doesn't really fit with the first two stanzas. You should try to say something more about rewinding life; that is a good concept.
