AbyssA Poem by ClippedredwingsA free verse metaphor
It's funny, the way rage bubbles within me.
It used to be every once in awhile. A bicentennial volcanic eruption Rare, but calamitous Drowning the earth in my verbal lava. But it's different now. It's constant like a Hydrothermal Vent deep down in the deepest abyss of my chest. Where only the most mistakenly menacing thoughts drift around and swim and glow and kill each other. © 2013 ClippedredwingsReviews
