Snow

Snow

A Poem by Jacob Clifford
"

*Acrostic*

"
Softly fluttering to the ground
New blankets coating the tiny town
Opening worlds of adventure
Wonders await

Short and accurate! Such are the wonders of snow. And haven't you guys had a hell of a snow season!? Those snowstorms have been plastered all over our news downunder.

The simplicity of the acrostic is suited to the words used. A perfect style to ease back into the poetic writing frame of mind.

Nicely conceived, Clifford.

Reminds me of my hometown in Michigan where it never stopped snowing. Also lived in Fargo for a while. Thanks for the memories and happy new year!

Ooh this is lovely Clifford! Short, sweet and quite clever. And each line describes the effects of snow aptly. Well done. Keep writing!
