I was a little nervousA Poem by ClemmyJust nervousI struggled with the knee,
About to let go, Of the whole body, Emotions ran out of me, I was afraid, To speak about the truth, Shy the truth, It will shy away from you too, Had to do it, I got onto the stage, That podium to deliver the message, That changed the way they thought, I finally managed, I got onto the podium, I knew the whole world, Was watching with an abated breath, I spoke flowing words, that went straight for their hearts, And had them setting new goals, Visions and love, I was a new dream, They all had been waiting for. © 2011 Clemmy |
