The dark childA Poem by ClemmyIm talking about black sheep in families... coz i was one...onceI saw my reflection once, Hopeless, loveless, powerless, I felt my pain enveloped by utter misery, I looked at the sky hoping, The rains to come and dissolve me, I saw their eyes filled, With envy and hatred, Like they saw how great I was to become, I got to ask myself this question, Where am I now?
I am too glad to answer that, I am where I wanted to be, still Going on to where I want to be, The black ram now has shed its wool, I have shrugged the pain, And divorced the misery, I have rejected the scorn, And trod under their despise, I am me and my head aint hung nomore, I am who the Master of the Universe wanted me to be. © 2010 ClemmyReviews
