If I Weren't Human

If I weren’t human

life would be just perfect.

I wouldn’t make anymore mistakes.

My pace would always be just right

and I would never drop things.

I could control everything 

that I currently cannot.

My computer wouldn’t go to sleep

a split-second before I need it. 

And automatic toilets

wouldn't flush until I’m done.

I could fall asleep as easily

as I blink my eyes.

And I would always awaken gently

and right on time.

I would always have the answers

and rain would never fall.

But if I were perfect

Would living be worth anything at all?

Love it start to finish. JustCate! Everything mentioned adds that teeny frisson to life, that wondering if or when.. will it or won't it.. and do I really mind anyway! Being human, being perfect could be.. would I know, be almost boring, almost to much stress to worry about. As to what follows, it's the not knowing because you are more concerned in being YOU than the hilarious words as: .
